Job Description

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Forensic Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. As a Forensic RN, you will be responsible for: Administering medication and treatments Admitting and assessing patients Monitoring vital signs and symptoms Running and ordering tests Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists Charting Patient Progress Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state BLS and ACLS required About Nashville General Hospital Nashville General Hospital (NGH) is Nashville’s original community-based hospital.
