Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative care to join our team in a regional healthcare facility serving the Southern United States. This part-time, on-site role involves delivering high-quality nursing care through comprehensive clinical assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Utilize clinical reasoning to perform accurate assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nursing care plans to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Engage in evidence-based practice by evaluating nursing quality indicators and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Create a supportive, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff, managing both emotional and physical pain effectively.
  • Respect and incorporate diverse cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic factors into patient care.
  • Advocate for patient rights, confidentiality, and dignity while addressing ethical and clinical concerns.
  • Facilitate learning for patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote informed health decisions and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and delegate care, ensuring continuity and safety.
  • Apply systems thinking to optimize resource use and problem-solving in patient care delivery.

Education and Experience
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure with demonstrated competence in perioperative nursing practice.
  • Experience in clinical assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth through continuing education and certification.
Requirements
