What You'll do As a Technical SEO Manager you will be own the technical foundation of Rural King's organic search presence. This role focuses on site health, crawlability, performance, structured data, and platform-level SEO initiatives. The Technical SEO Manager works closely with development, UX, and analytics teams to ensure search engines can efficiently access and interpret site content.
- Lead technical SEO strategy and execution across the e-commerce platform.
- Conduct regular site audits and identify technical issues (e.g., crawl errors, broken links).
- Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and indexation strategies.
- Monitor site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance.
- Implement and maintain structured data (schema markup).
- Partner with development teams on SEO-related releases and site migrations.
- Track technical SEO performance and report insights using GSC, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush.
- Lead associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Rural King's Thrive Leadership Program.
- Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Supervisory Responsibilities Yes
Essential Qualities for Success - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of technical SEO experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication
Physical Requirements - Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
- Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.
- Able to navigate and access all facilities.
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
