Job Description

Summary Assists Spanish speaking team members with interpretation and translation by reading through or listening to content in one language, ensuring understanding of the meaning and context of that content, and converting it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures translations both written and oral convey original meaning and tone. Converts documents as needed in English and Spanish. Assists different departments, as needed, in translating. Assists in translating documents, interviews, mediations, investigations, etc. Assists in translating for trainings both in the classroom and on the floor in production areas. Supports employees whose first language is not English in utilizing growth and development opportunities offered by Rosenboom. Reads job-related materials and researches industry specific terminology for the purpose of ensuring that related concepts and terms are accurately translated Is familiar with manufacturing terminology, principles and concepts. Facilitates instruction specific to a variety of training requirements as appropriate to curriculum and student needs. Documents and/or assists with the documentation of training process. Maintains a flexible schedule to assist trainees in the best manner possible. Understands human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; and learning and motivation theory. Understands production processes and the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Demonstrates the ability and willingness to acquire a foundational knowledge of government regulations and agency rules relative to job responsibilities. Communicates (speaks, understands and writes using acceptable format and sentence and paragraph structure) in English and Spanish. Demonstrates an ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner. Demonstrates an ability to generate and maintain accurate and concise written records. Demonstrates an ability to actively listen. Is honest, fair, tactful, and consistent in dealing with other employees/applicants. Maintains self-control and patience while dealing with employees/applicants and in stressing situations. Has the ability to keep information confidential. Education/Training/Certification/Licenses On-site training specific to job responsibilities; and, Continuing education as made available and/or required by Rosenboom. High School diploma or (GED). Is fluent, both written and orally, in Spanish and English. Relative manufacturing experience preferred.
