Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Kent, WA Duration: 19 Weeks Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $2,520/week Job Description We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 19-week contract assignment with Kent School District in a float capacity. The assigned school site is TBD, and flexibility is required to support district needs. The Occupational Therapist will provide services to students requiring support in fine motor skills, sensory integration, functional independence, and access to the educational environment. This role involves collaboration with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement IEP-based therapy services. Key Responsibilities * Provide school-based occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs * Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as needed * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans * Support students with fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development * Collaborate with teachers, paraeducators, and special education teams * Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting * Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Qualifications * Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license * School-based or pediatric experience preferred * Knowledge of IEP processes and educational therapy models * Strong organizational and collaboration skills * Meets all district and state compliance requirements Benefits
