REACH Medical Holdings, operating as REACH Air Medical Services, is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Helicopter Pilot (2,000 Flight Hours Required) to support our Healthcare & Medical Services operations within the Transportation & Logistics department. In this role, you will provide safe, reliable, and efficient air medical transport for critically ill and injured patients, partnering closely with our flight nurses, paramedics, and communication specialists. You will be responsible for conducting all phases of helicopter operation, including pre-flight planning, weather assessment, aircraft inspections, flight execution, and post-flight documentation, while strictly adhering to FAA regulations, company policies, and established safety procedures. As a REACH Air helicopter pilot, you will operate in a safety-first, high-performance culture where teamwork, clear communication, and sound judgment are essential. You will fly a variety of missions, including emergency scene responses, interfacility transfers, and specialty transports, often under time-sensitive and challenging conditions. Your ability to manage risk, evaluate changing weather and terrain, and make conservative go/no-go decisions will be critical to protecting patients, crew, and aircraft. You will also act as a professional representative of REACH Medical Holdings, maintaining courteous interactions with hospital personnel, EMS agencies, public safety partners, and patients’ families. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, maintaining accurate flight and duty records, coordinating fuel and maintenance needs, and ensuring the aircraft is mission-ready at all times. You will participate actively in safety briefings, debriefings, and ongoing training, including simulator sessions, recurrent check rides, and proficiency evaluations. You will contribute to continuous improvement by reporting hazards, participating in safety programs, and following all risk assessment tools and protocols. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2,000 helicopter flight hours, strong EMS or public safety aviation experience, and a demonstrated commitment to aviation safety and crew resource management. You should be comfortable flying day and night operations, including under instrument and marginal weather conditions as required by company standards. You will work closely with the clinical crew during missions, maintaining calm and professional cockpit management while they deliver patient care in a confined, dynamic environment. REACH Air offers a supportive work environment that values open communication, mutual respect, and ongoing professional development. You will be part of a dedicated team that shares a mission-driven focus on serving communities in critical moments. Schedules may include nights, weekends, and holidays, and you must be prepared to respond quickly while on duty. In return, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to make a direct, meaningful impact on patient outcomes, while building a long-term career in air medical transport with an organization known for its safety, reliability, and team culture.
