This includes visual inspection and ensuring all required paperwork / data are completed. Meter Inspection Technicians will be required to report to their respective work area on time at the start of each shift. Previous outdoor experience is a plus.* Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.* Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected.* Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position).* Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record* Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.* Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.* Computer proficiency* Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, as well as maps and prints; possess basic math skill to calculate distances.* Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
