We are looking for a highly creative and fast-moving Game Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be the "idea engine" behind our game content. Your goal is to generate fresh, engaging concepts and transform them into playable features at a rapid pace. You should naturally use AI tools to accelerate your brainstorming, storytelling, and visual prototyping to keep up with our fast-iteration cycles. Key Responsibilities Rapid Idea Generation: Constantly brainstorm and pitch new mechanics, themes, and "creative hooks" that can grab player attention in a crowded mobile market. Level & Content Design: Design compelling levels, progression systems, and narratives by utilizing AI tools to shorten the gap between "concept" and "execution." Ensure optimal pacing and difficulty curves. Game Economy Management: Design, balance, and manage in-game economies. You will oversee resource sinks and faucets, reward structures, and monetization loops to drive long-term player retention. Data-Informed Iteration: Monitor game performance and marketing data (DAU, Retention, Ad metrics) to identify what’s working and pivot designs quickly based on player behavior. Market-Driven Design: Work closely with the marketing/UA team to ensure game features are "marketable" and translate into high-performing ad creatives. Visual Documentation: Create clear and compelling Game Design Documents (GDDs) using AI-generated visuals to effectively communicate your vision to the engineering and art teams. Required Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience in mobile game design. Hands-on experience with level design, possessing a strong understanding of player flow, pacing, and engaging layouts. Solid understanding of game economy fundamentals, including resource balancing, reward pacing, and progression systems. A proven ability to generate high volumes of creative ideas and iterate on them weekly in a fast-paced startup environment. A proactive attitude toward using AI tools to multiply your own productivity; you see AI as a partner in the creative process. Comfortable analyzing data (DAU, session length, etc.) to validate your designs and suggest optimizations. Ability to pitch ideas clearly and collaborate effectively across teams without needing to write code. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with SLG (Strategy) or narrative-driven mobile games is a huge plus. Proven track record of managing and tuning complex live-ops economies.
