Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as an Event Assistant and support meetings/events at the General Motors Technical Center - Warren Campus. The Event Assistant will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. For jobs in San Francisco, this includes the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the event management team with daily tasksCreate and maintain event documents, including room diagrams and campus mapsVerify room setups are correct, including tables, chairs, podium, riser, catering tables, and additional items as required; Notify appropriate departments if room setups are incorrect and ensure the adjustmentsSchedule Corrigo work orders to support upcoming eventsPrepare event reports in Microsoft Excel and attend weekly event meetingsProvide exceptional customer service to meeting organizers and address any inquiries or concernsSubmit digital artwork to Ricoh for event signage to be printedTrack inventory of event furniture and maintain organization of storage areasConduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future eventsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferredProven experience in event planning or coordinationExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteCreative problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feetAttention to detail and ability to multitask effectivelyEducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
