Work Environment
The Clinical Research Coordinator will work onsite as part of an oncology research team at a cancer center. The role involves close collaboration with research nurses, physicians, regulatory staff, data teams, and sponsors in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with approximately 33 open trials. Work is primarily conducted in a clinical and office environment using electronic medical records and standard clinical research tools. The schedule includes heavier clinic days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, lighter clinic days on Mondays and Wednesdays, and an administrative-focused day on Fridays that is typically remote, unless an in-person patient visit is required. On occasion, the coordinator may need to stay later to accommodate patient visits, with flexibility to shift hours later in the week to maintain balance. The environment supports professional development and offers the opportunity to be part of a growing clinical research program within expanding cancer centers.
