Summary description of Associate, Firm Implementations:

The Firm Implementations Associate is the primary point of contact for home office personnel of Broker Dealer firms that utilize the Insurance Exchange (iX) platform, is responsible for the successful execution of iX related projects for assigned firms and is accountable to deliver clients a positive platform experience. You will be supporting and managing on-boarding activities and executing project related tasks within multiple workstreams of your assigned firms’ iX implementation. You will develop and foster relationships with iX clients, understand evolving business needs, and recommend ways for firms to grow and streamline their business utilizing our platform. You will likely be managing multiple sets of implementation activities at any given time and must be able to prioritize, track and execute tasks in accordance with project timelines across multiple firms and 3rd party providers. The Firm Implementations Associate must have demonstrated experience in project management, business process analysis, system data flows and/or business architecture. You must be highly organized, be able to prioritize and drive deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage and adjust to evolving client requirements. This role requires a commitment to understanding the features, functionality, and integration points of the IX platform, excellent communication skills, positive attitude, accountability for delivery, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Support and execute tasks related to the firm’s daily use and adoption of the Insurance Exchange platform. Work cooperatively with internal teams, insurance carriers, partner firms, and 3rd party providers to develop and implement assigned firms’ annuity workflows, data integrations, and system functionality.
• Perform tasks defined in assigned firm’s project plans. Ensure deliverables meet published timelines.
• Work collaboratively with partner firms, e.g., insurance carriers, Envestnet, iCapital, Annuity Order Entry (AOE) providers, and ensure they understand requirements to meet project deliverables. Participate in meetings to iterate requirements.
• Maintain project boards in Monday.com. Update project plans, carrier lists, product lists, development items, list of post-implementation deliverables, etc. on regular cadence.
• Execute testing in UAT and Prod environment to ensure development deliverables meet firm business requirements.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned firms to establish and nurture strong relationships based on trust and mutual success.
• Meet with assigned firms on a regular basis to understand their evolving strategic plans and business needs and to review issues and address concerns.
• Actively track and manage issues and enhancement request lists, define and execute action plans to resolve issues, and provide summary level reporting to clients and internal stakeholders on a periodic basis.
• Execute issue triage, liaising with internal teams as required, to identify root cause of reported issues. Define and execute action steps required to resolve issue. Report issue status and, ultimately, issue resolution to client per agreed upon timeframe.
• Maintain comprehensive repository of client related documentation. Artifacts include but are not limited to: Business Requirements Documents, Statements of Work, transition documents, workflow diagrams, integration diagrams, issues lists, and enhancement request lists.
• Act as a client advocate, ensuring that the client's perspective is always taken into consideration during decision-making processes.

Platform and Industry Expertise :

• Develop and maintain a foundational understanding of Insurance Exchange capabilities and integration points.
• Demonstrate assigned firms’ Insurance Exchange workflows, features, and functionality and articulate product value to clients within the context of their business.
• Share knowledge and insights with colleagues within the larger FIDx organization, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in investment operations, project management, client implementation and/or business analysis preferred but not required.
• Relevant certifications, e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), are a plus.
• Basic understanding of wealth management platforms and/or broker dealer / RIA technology platforms and procedures preferred
• Basic understanding of financial products and associated operational workflows. Experience with annuity products a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with clients at all levels.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Interest in relevance of detail underlying analysis is a must.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple clients, projects and priorities simultaneously.

Additional Requirements

• Periodic travel and flexible working hours will likely be required to support client project milestones
• Periodic weekend post-deployment release testing required
• Strong Excel, Word, Power Point, and Lucid skills required
• Proficiency in using project management tool like JIRA, Monday.com and other relevant software applications
• Candidate must demonstrate initiative, be self-assured, and remain poised and professional in high pressure situations

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

The work schedule for this position will be primarily Monday - Friday during typical business hours; however, based on the operational needs of this rapidly growing company, some work outside of typical business hours may be required. Working extended business hours or weekends will be required on occasion to support code deployments and on-boarding project schedule and deadlines.
