Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive care for patients with substance use disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic approaches, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), behavioral therapies, and counseling.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to deliver integrated care.
- Conduct assessments and screenings for substance use disorders and related mental health conditions.
- Educate patients and their families about addiction, treatment options, and strategies for recovery.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote awareness and prevention of substance use disorders.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in addiction medicine to provide evidence-based care.
Qualifications: - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Missouri medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- At least 1 year of experience in addiction medicine or a related field.
- US citizenship or Green Card holder.
- Board certification in Addiction Medicine is preferred but not required.
